Today, Ryan Kinney is a licensed commercial real estate broker in both North and South Carolina and an active member of the Charlotte Region Commercial Board of Realtors (CRCBR). He is dedicated to delivering exceptional service and localized expertise to every client he serves. Ryan takes pride in building long-term partnerships and working tirelessly to enhance the value he brings to each project. His work is grounded in three guiding principles: service, honesty, and hard work.
At New Branch Real Estate Advisors, Ryan specializes in supporting clients with the acquisition, disposition, and leasing of commercial real estate. Outside the office, he enjoys sailing, fly fishing, woodworking, international travel, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Growing Up In The Business
Ryan’s connection to real estate began early. As a child, he was actively involved in his family’s fourth-generation real estate business—turning wrenches and pitching in wherever needed to help maintain his father’s residential and commercial properties. He later paired this early hands-on experience with formal education, earning a bachelor’s degree in Commercial Real Estate and Business Administration from the University of South Carolina.

Over a Century in Charlotte
Ryan Kinney’s real estate journey is deeply rooted in over 100 years of family history. It began with his great-grandfather, Lee Kinney, who launched his real estate career in 1918 and went on to serve as one of the early Presidents of the North Carolina Board of Realtors from 1936 to 1937. Ryan’s grandfather and father continued the legacy, each operating real estate businesses that served Charlotte and the surrounding communities across multiple generations.
